Christmas Money Gift Ideas: Personalised Money Holders
Share
As children get older, more and more of them ask for money for Christmas – saving up for something big, or just loving the feeling of choosing for themselves. It's a sensible gift, but handing over an envelope can feel a little flat. That's exactly why we started making personalised Christmas money holders: the cash is the present, and the holder becomes a decoration they hang on the tree every year after.
How our money holders work
Each one is UV printed acrylic with their name on the front. You roll up a note and slot it inside, then hang it on the tree with the ribbon. Once the money's been spent, it goes back into the decorations box for next December. Most hold rolled £5 and £10 notes, and many fit a £20 too – each listing tells you exactly what fits.
Heart money holders
Our heart designs have a sweet character sitting in the snow, with their name above:
- Penguin Heart – a little penguin in a Santa hat on a snowy blue heart
- Dinosaur Heart – for the little one who roars more than they talk
- Pink Kitten Heart – a fluffy white kitten for cat-mad children
- Unicorn Reindeer Heart – half unicorn, half reindeer, all magic
Character-shaped money holders
These are cut out in the shape of the character, with their name on a plaque where the note slots in. They come gift-boxed, so they're ready to give:
- Dinosaur Shaped Money Holder – a grinning dino in a Santa hat, hugging a present
- Unicorn Shaped Money Holder – a pastel unicorn with tiny reindeer antlers
Festive scenes
The rectangular holders have room for a full Christmas scene, like the Santa & Reindeer Money Holder, with Santa and a reindeer walking through a snowy village under the stars.
Who are they good for?
- Grandchildren – a lovely way for grandparents to give money that still feels personal
- Nieces and nephews – especially when you're not sure what they're into this year
- Teenagers – who'd rather have cash, but still enjoy something with their name on
- Godchildren – a keepsake that marks every Christmas you've given
A few tips
- Roll the note tightly around a pencil first – it slides in much more easily.
- A gift voucher or a little handwritten note works just as well as cash.
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth, and they'll look as good next year.
- Every holder is made to order, so please double-check the spelling. Personalised items can't be returned unless faulty, and faster postal upgrades are available at checkout.
