Meet Jenny, the Woman Behind Print4You
Hi, I'm Jenny!
Thank you for stopping by to learn a little more about me and my small business. I'm the owner, designer, printer and packer behind Print4You Personalised Gifts, a family-run business based in Bromley, Kent. I'm a proud wife, mum to two grown-up children and dog mum to Bella, and I run everything from my own print studio at home.
How it all started
My journey into personalised printing began quite unexpectedly. One day I found a packet of stickers, realised I could make something similar, and decided to give it a go. From that small spark, things grew quickly. Stickers turned into birthday cards and reward charts, and before long I was investing in new equipment and trying out more and more ideas.
My path here hasn't been a straight line. I wasn't particularly academic at school, went on to study car mechanics, became a single mum at 20, worked part-time in retail and later trained as a childminder. But when this little printing venture started to take off in 2012, everything just clicked. All these years later, I still love what I do.
A typical day in the studio
Tea first, everything else later! That's how it works here. Most days you'll find me designing with a crime documentary on in the background, Bella keeping me company, and me having a love-hate relationship with my printers.
Today I work with a range of specialist printers:
- A UV printer for designs on keepsake boxes, tins and acrylic
- DTG printers for printing directly onto cotton clothing
- A white toner printer for other fabrics, like make-up bags and rucksacks
- A laser printer for greeting cards and stickers
Meet Tom
I'm not quite on my own! Tom has been part of Print4You for over three years and prints most of our clothing orders. He's now also working as an assistant cameraman for the BBC and ITV, so you might spot his work on TV as well as on your little one's birthday t-shirt.
Where you'll find us
I started selling on Etsy a few years ago and the shop just took off. Today we have over 89,000 sales there and are proud to be a Star Seller. We've also made over 170,000 sales on eBay with 5-star feedback, and of course you can shop everything right here on our own website.
What matters to me
I'm passionate about quick turnarounds, friendly customer service and high-quality personalised gifts, from baby grows and birthday t-shirts to first birthday outfits, gift wrap and one-of-a-kind keepsakes. Whether you're welcoming a new arrival, celebrating a special occasion or just want to surprise someone, I'd love to help bring your ideas to life.
